We Did It!!!

We did it! Yesterday we purchased a new truck and picked up the trailer! We got an F-150, 3.5L w/ Eco-boost which will pull our trailer just fine.

There will certainly be a learning curve for towing that thing, it’s a beast! After some time and practice, we will be comfortable with how it handles and will be flying down the road in no time.

Last night we pulled the trailer up in front of our house and we have 2 days to load it up with all of our stuff, before we head down to San Marcos, TX, where we will be parked for at least 3 months.

We will be staying at the Pecan Park Riverside RV park, which is right on the San Marcos river, in a nice quiet spot. It has river access, an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, weekend movie nights on a giant inflatable screen, nice facilities, etc. We are so excited!

We couldn’t help but start our first renovation project. The back bunk and couch were pulled out to make room for a cat tree. We will also be making a box for the cat box, which will hold the chicken coop on top of it. It’s super important for us to make sure all the kids are happy in the new home!

Over the next 2 days, we will be putting all of our belongings into it and making it our home! So excited!
