We actually went to Paisley Vegan Kitchen in Cocoa Beach, Florida twice because it was SO amazing! If you’ve been following along with us on our food adventures, you’ll know by now that we are obsessed with anything that has buffalo sauce on it. So, it’s no shocker that we ordered buffalo cauliflower and buffalo chicken sandwiches. The entire menu isn’t very extensive, but what they do have looks fabulous and we wish we would have branched out a bit from our staples to try some new things.
What we ordered
Buffalo Cauliflower Bites- cauliflower florets battered and fried, then coated in spicy buffalo sauce. These might be the best buffalo cauliflower we’ve ever had! And that’s saying a lot since we order these quite often. The batter they were fried in was fantastic, the buffalo sauce wasn’t too spicy and packed just the right amount of punch, and the cauliflower was perfectly cooked and a bit crunchy on the inside. Definitely order these, or order two, because they are perfection!
Crispy Chicken Sandwich- chicken style seitan, romaine lettuce, mayo, tomato, served on ciabatta, upgrade to buffalo ranch. OF COURSE, we upgraded to buffalo ranch! The ciabatta roll came out a little warm still, which made the bread soft and easy to bite into, the seitan was pretty good, a little dense, but had good flavor. The star of the show was the buffalo and ranch.
Chicken Alfredo- house-made fresh pasta tossed in creamy alfredo sauce, topped with green onion and the chicken style seitan. The pasta was absolutely fabulous, especially since it was house-made and not just plopped out of a box. The seitan was a little dense, as previously mentioned, but the whole dish overall was creamy and delicious.
Macaroni and Cheese- a creamy dish of pasta, baked with house made two cheese sauce and fresh herbs, topped with breadcrumbs. We SO wished this turned out a little better. The cheese didn’t have the best flavor and definitely isn’t our favorite mac and cheese that we’ve ever had. It was good as a side, but not worth it for the full main course.

We are fellow vegan travelers, living in south Florida and we stumbled upon Paisley a year or so ago. We ordered the same–Buffalo cauli and the Alfredo. Delish!! On the day we were there they had pie, too and we couldn’t resist 🙂 A cute, little place with tasty vegan food! I hope you have tried Green Room Cafe in Cocoa Beach as well?
Oh no, we didn’t get a chance to go there! I’ll have to add it to our list for the next time we come through Florida! Thanks for the suggestion
My pleasure! Your Dry Tortugas post was inspiring and helpful. We are planning a trip in May 🙂
Fantastic! You should have better weather than we had! Enjoy it!
